Kenny Thomas is a former NBA player. He attended high school in El Paso, Texas, before moving to Albuquerque, New Mexico to play for Albuquerque High School during his senior season. After high school, Thomas attended the University of New Mexico as a LOBO, he became an All-American. After being drafted by the Houston Rockets, Thomas was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers and then to the Sacramento Kings in the Chris Webber deal.
After a successful NBA career, Mr. Thomas has evolved into a successful businessman and philanthropist. He does a great deal of work in major cities throughout the US benefiting under privileged kids. He supports various charities in the Albuquerque area. He is President and CEO of Kenny Thomas Enterprises. Kenny Thomas Enterprises awards annual college scholarships to deserving Albuquerque High School graduates who would otherwise experience limited opportunities due to financial hardships.
